out of balance due to wealth fixation

We are great beings! We think in many different ways,have the potential to interact locally and globally instantaneously! we can grow things, make things,show things,talk about things, about feelings, concepts,...we can sing, dance, express a myriad of emotions...and still we grow, still we improve.improve? mmmm...go back in time and people created circles of stone to catch the rays of the sun at the times of the solstice...remote asfrican tribes could draw maps of star systems,pyramids were built for the burial of pharoahs...we were pretty damn good back then really! improve? where are we now? we stand at a point where the system our species has created is welded together electronically..instead of ley lines and power lines we have cyber lines...electricity grids, cable junctions, servers,mainframes...and watching graphs on screens in buildings located in the heart of the cities of the developed world we have traders...making calls, going along with hunches,pressing buttons, altering destinies...we have the markets. the markets! The forces that determine the movements of wealth...that have impact on all the economic plethora of terms and concepts..credit ratings...and you have NOW!! economies plunged into economic dire straits, going bust,hyper inflated...its out of control...the markets are jittery, and they have no cure for the jitters, because people don't want to lose their money..the traders sell..they panic, they make decisions based on what they thin k will happen tomorrow..gambling! casino reality...if it all goes pear shaped who jknows!?! but what of this...of wealth..of money? how much of our lives does the concept or pursuit or worry etc etc etc about and of money use up? how much energy is used? how much time fretting about a future personal pension? about the mortgage...it seems unbalanced to me. people trade time for it, they sacrifice for it, they gamble for it,...we often mirror the system..this is not our fault, it is what we were born into...there are other things though...love,creation,life,reflection,nature,balance,appreciation...the pursuit of money has led us collectively to this point in time....we balance on the part of the ship still sticking out of the water...there are life boats out there...but how many can see them?
